Directions to Hotel Adler
Arrival by Car from Germany:
When traveling from Germany, take the route via Munich, Rosenheim, and Innsbruck. Drive on the Brenner Autobahn A22 towards Italy and exit at Brixen/Pustertal. Continue to Brunico and then towards Valle Aurina. Stay on the main road until you reach San Giovanni in Valle Aurina, where our hotel is located on the left side.
Arrival by Car from Austria:
Coming from Austria, you can either take the route via Innsbruck and the Brenner Autobahn A22, as described above, or alternatively via St. Michael im Lungau, Spittal an der Drau, and Lienz. In both cases, follow the road through the Pustertal to Brunico, then proceed towards Valle Aurina. Our hotel is located in San Giovanni in Valle Aurina on the left side of the road.
Arrival by Car from Switzerland:
From Switzerland, the route passes through Zurich, Vaduz, Feldkirch, and Innsbruck on the Brenner Autobahn A22. After the Brixen/Pustertal exit, continue to Brunico and then towards Valle Aurina. Upon arriving in San Giovanni in Valle Aurina, our hotel is easily recognizable on the left side of the main road.
Arrival by Car from the South (Italy):
When coming from the South, i.e., from Italy, drive through Modena, Verona, and Trento until you reach Bolzano. From there, take the Brenner Autobahn A22 to the Brixen/Pustertal exit. After exiting the highway, head towards Brunico and then to San Giovanni in Valle Aurina. Our hotel is located directly on the left side of the main road.
Traveling with an Electric Car:
In South Tyrol, there is an excellent network of charging stations where you can conveniently charge your electric car.
Important Notes & Links:
- From November 15 to April 15, winter tires or chains are mandatory in South Tyrol for cars and trucks during snowfall, snow-covered roads, or ice.
- In Italy, driving with lights on and carrying safety vests is mandatory.

If you wish to travel by train, your destination station is Brunico or Brunico Nord. The North/South railway line runs through Innsbruck, Brennero, Bolzano. The most common transfer station is Fortezza. The East/West railway line runs through Lienz, San Candido, Fortezza. From Brunico, you can continue your journey by public bus, taxi, or conveniently directly to your holiday accommodation with the connecting shuttle service "Südtirol Transfer".

With Flixbus, you can reach South Tyrol from Germany and Austria via Munich and Innsbruck, or from the south via Verona, Rovereto, and Trento. Your stop in South Tyrol will be in Bressanone.
When arriving by train or bus in South Tyrol, for the last few kilometers to your accommodation, there is the connecting shuttle service "Südtirol Transfer":
From the train stations of Bolzano, Merano, Malles, Bressanone, Brunico, and San Candido, as well as the long-distance bus stops in Bolzano, Chiusa, Varna (near Bressanone), and Vipiteno, you can reach your holiday accommodation – and after the holiday, back to the stop.
The public buses depart from Brunico every fifteen minutes to the Valle Aurina. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or directly on board.
